Overview
Turn every Traffio Booking into a fully documented SiteStory Site, automatically.
Traffic management companies running both platforms no longer need to re-key job details between systems. When a Booking is created in Traffio, it's automatically created as a Site in SiteStory, with the assigned Traffic Controllers carried across too. Once a Story is captured and uploaded on site, its link - and any Shared Story link generated from it - syncs straight back to the original Booking in Traffio. No double entry, no chasing links, no gaps in the record.
How it works
Once connected, the whole workflow runs automatically in the background there's nothing to trigger manually.
The sync runs instantly when you first activate the integration, then checks Traffio every 15 minutes for new or updated Bookings. Any new Booking is created as a Site in SiteStory, and any changes to an existing Booking are reflected on the matching Site. If the Traffic Controllers assigned to a Booking already exist as users in SiteStory, they're automatically assigned to the Site.
From there, video documentation happens as normal in SiteStory. As soon as a Story is uploaded for the Site, the Story link syncs back to the corresponding Booking in Traffio. If a Shared Story link is generated for that Story, it syncs back too.
Both the Story and Shared Story links are visible at the individual Booking level in Traffio, or from the all Stories list, so anyone working from Traffio always has the latest documentation to hand.
Configure
You'll need a paid plan on both Traffio and SiteStory, and Admin permissions on both platforms, to set up the integration.
Generate an API key in Traffio, then enter it in SiteStory under Settings → Integrations.
From there, you can filter which Bookings sync automatically, using Traffio fields such as Project, Depot, Client, or Tag so only the Bookings relevant to your SiteStory workspace come across.
You can also control how Traffic Controllers are handled. By default, SiteStory only auto-assigns Traffic Controllers who already exist as users ("Auto add existing members"), but you can switch this to automatically create new users in SiteStory from the Traffio Booking record if they don't already exist.
